Green Kids Inc (established in 1991) is a non-profit, live-theatre group, and the only charity in Canada dedicated solely to environmental education for young people through performance.

Our Vision: Children changing the world.

Our Mission: To educate children and teachers on environmental issues and to inspire them to take positive action towards protecting our environment.

Our Method: Environmental education in elementary and middle schools through live theatre.

Our Approach: Green Kids has never been more relevant, timely or necessary. As the challenges facing our environment emerge to the forefront of Canadian and global consciousness, it is imperative that we teach children about our environment and the positive impact they can still have on the future of our planet.

Our 17th Annual School Tour Kicks off April 7th with "Palais Oops! A Green Pantomime".

Our 2008 season begins April 7, and runs through May 30th. This year, we bring you a vaudevillian comedy, entitled "Palais Oops! A Green Pantomime." A tribute to the beginnings of sketch comedy, this show combines fast-paced wit with clear and simple descriptions and demonstrations of some of the major environmental issues facing us today. While avoiding the blame game and focusing on the positive, the play will educate audiences about the very real threat of climate change and the immediate steps that can be taken to curb its effects.

"Palais Oops! A Green Pantomime" addresses and supports current issues in the school curriculum focusing on Climate Change. Other topics also include: Sustainable Development, Carbon Footprinting, Greenhouse Gas Emissions, Natural Resource and Habitat Preservation. The show is most appropriate for students in grades 1 through 6.
